Senior Executive Vice President, Lift Fund

Richard Gianni joined LiftFund Inc. in April 2014. Mr. Gianni has over 45 years of retail financial services experience from community and regional banks and in the non-profit sector with LiftFund, all in the Houston area. Throughout his career, Mr. Gianni has held many management roles, culminating in his retirement from Wells Fargo Bank as regional banking area president where he directed the efforts of 570 team members.
Experienced in counseling entrepreneurs, Mr. Gianni has continued his investment and leadership in the community by joining LiftFund, initially servicing economically underdeveloped communities, throughout the Greater Houston Area and helping small business owners reach their financial goals. As the Senior Executive Vice President, in charge of Direct Lending for LIftFund, Mr. Gianni now leads the large loan/SBA 7(a) and micro lending efforts and implements programs to enhance LiftFund’s presence throughout its 14 state footprint.
Over the years, Mr. Gianni has served on numerous boards to include Target Hunger, serving as their fundraising chairman for three years. He also served as the president for the Museum District Business Alliance for four years, and as a member for the Good Neighbor Health Care Center board and the Houston Community College School of Banking advisory board.
