Miranda Rodriguez
Deputy Director, LISC LA
Miranda manages LISC LA's economic development initiatives that create opportunities for low-income people of color to participate in the economic growth of the region and build wealth within their communities. In this role, she has had the opportunity to lead efforts around small-business ecosystem building, inclusive procurement strategies, employee-ownership models, and micro-financing for diverse small businesses.
Prior to LISC, Miranda served as Placemaking Manager for River LA, where she assisted with the delivery, sourcing, and funding of River LA’s project pipeline. Miranda is a proud native Angeleno and hold a Bachelor's Degree from Lewis and Clark College. As a lover of cities, she is interested in advancing equitable policies and programs for changing urban neighborhoods across America.
